WHO IS JOSH?

With over a decade of experience in the industry, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the world’s best known brands, from Victoria Beckham to Hilton Hotels, Jo Malone to Moet. My work has taken me all over the world and I’m pretty adept at turning my hand to any given situation. Whether it’s documenting a charity expedition across India, creating branded content for paid-partnerships, or shooting events - you name it, I’ve probably done it. Variety is the spice of life, after all!

My journey in photography and video began at a young age when my grandmother gave me my first camera (for fellow camera nerds out there, a 35mm film Kyocera Yashica Zoomate 140), at the age of 9. Goodness knows how many rolls of film were shot on that thing. As soon as we entered the digital camera era, I was fascinated by the fact these things could also shoot video. I’d spend summers with my friends making short films, making it all up as we went along, but having the best time whilst doing it. I then had the challenge of what to do with all of this footage. This, of course, led to my first foray into video editing. Little did I know, all those hours of learning would be the foundations of the career I have today. Fast forward a couple of decades and the fundamentals are still the same - have fun with it. Just with a lot less ‘making it up as I go along’…!

I believe what sets me apart is my friendly and relaxed approach to my work. Creating awesome, authentic content shouldn't be stressful – it should be an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. My aim is to ensure that anyone in front of my lens is relaxed, at ease and is having a good time. I put 110% into every project, no matter how big or small, because when you love what you do, it never feels like a chore!
